God the Father is The Godhead, according to scripture. There is only One God, He sets upon His throne, and rules the universe.
Deuteronomy 6:4 – Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:
John 17:3 – And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
John 4:24 – God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
1 John 5:20 – And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.
1 Corinthians 8:6 – But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.
Jeremiah 10:10 – But the LORD is the true God, he is the living God, and an everlasting king: at his wrath the earth shall tremble, and the nations shall not be able to abide his indignation.
1 Corinthians 8:4 – we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is none other God but one.
